Leading Aberdeen-based industrial cleaning and waste disposal company MSIS has sustained its impressive growth record, with 2007 pre-tax profits of £960,000, up nine percent on 2006.

Turnover in 2007 reached £5.3 million, a record for the company.

To achieve this growth, MSIS continued to expand its blue chip client portfolio of oil and gas operators and contractors in both the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) and in West Africa, while also introducing a number of new services.

In 2007 MSIS was sold to Steminic Limited, which recently appointed Gordon Bennett as Group Business Development Manager.

Gordon will spend much of his time initially with MSIS. He brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 10 years.

He possesses an extensive background in environmental services sales – a key area of focus for MSIS – and his new role will involve developing the existing business, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

Gordon says he is delighted with the appointment and is looking forward to the challenges which lie ahead of him in his new role.
