Delegates were treated to a corporate event with a difference as leading Aberdeen-based industrial cleaning and waste disposal company MS Industrial Services hosted a high-profile quarry demonstration.
The company – which also has a base in Invergordon – organised the two-day event to showcase its very successful Vacuum Transfer System (VTS). The demonstration also included a tour of Aberdeen FC’s Pittodrie Stadium with Dons’ legend Joe Harper.
Delegates enjoyed corporate hospitality and a tour of the stadium before heading out to Corrennie Quarry in Donside for a demonstration of the £200,000 VTS. The quarry was specially chosen to simulate deep-tank cleaning and to show the VTS’ capabilities at vertical lifting.
Delighted with the success of the event, MSIS commercial director, Neil McArthur, said:
“The demonstration enabled us to illustrate to both existing and potential clients the many capabilities of the VTS. To be able to see exactly how the system operates on site was really beneficial. We managed to exceed previous lifts, this time achieving a 65 metre vertical lift.
“We were extremely pleased with the level of attendance and hope those who came along found the event useful, both in terms of how the VTS could perhaps benefit business, but also as a networking experience.
“As a result, we also picked up seven new leads which we hope will lead to new business opportunities for the company.”
Working in a variety of sectors, MSIS undertakes waste management, high pressure jetting, CCTV surveys, vacuum tanker hire, specialist coatings, oil spill response services, environmental management services and vacuum transfer systems (VTS).
